The DaVinci Content Management System (CMS) is a rich content delivery platform that supports an array of content to deliver value added services supporting all consumer touch points including SMS, STK, MMS, WAP, Web, USSD, Voice, Video and CRBT.
The system can manage many different types of content in different formats and display it into one consistent user experience that is easy to consume. Multi-country deployments are easily supported through a comprehensive context exchange and digital rights management (DRM) model.
An integrated device repository provides extensive information on the capabilities of each device and has information available for more than 4,500 handsets. The functionality of transcoding together with the in-depth device repository ensures that content is delivered at optimal quality and that users receive content that fits the functionality of their handset.
The inbuilt workflow engine manages the entire lifecycle of the content from ingestion, moderation, approval, adaptation and publishing to delivery. The integrated rules engine manages content licence agreements, cross-promotions and content ranking. A common subscriber registry tracks user behaviour across all services powered by the DaVinci CMS.
